nj CONSTITUTION PARTy State Convention

The Constitution Party of New Jersey held a convention meeting on February 2, 2008 in Woodbridge N.J.. Present at the meeting was Jim Clymer, National Chairman of the Constitution Party, and Dr. Jerome Corsi, a nationally acclaimed author and lecturer. Dr. Corsi, the keynote speaker at the meeting, is the co-author of the New York Times Bestseller Unfit for Command, and the author of The Late Great USA. Dr. Corsi, a member of the Constitution Party, spoke about the effects of NAFTA and the coming dangers to American sovereignty by corporate and political leaders who are working to create a North American Union (NAU).  The NAU refers to a merger of the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Constitution Party National Chairman Jim Clymer spoke about the differences between the Constitution Party (CP) and the “big box parties." He referred to the fact that the CP is the third largest political party in the US with approximately 400,000 registered voters nationwide. He also said “We have principles in our platform and have people committed to it," unlike many of the “big box” politicians who don’t even follow through on their own party's platform or their own promises. Clymer also quoted the French writer Alexis de Tocqueville, who after visiting America in 1831 said, "Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great because America is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great!". Clymer also spoke about the current economic recession and forecasted that it would be deep and tumultuous. The forthcoming hardships for our country may serve as a sobering reminder that the Democrats and Republicans have purposely led the American people astray.
